HARDINESS ZONE

How will my plant fare in my corner of the world?

Plant hardiness is an important factor in selecting suitable plants for your garden.

US Dept of Agriculture has done the homework and taken the guess work out of the equation.

The Hardiness Zone map is categorized by the average low and high temperatures for each region. This corresponds to the average low and high temperatures a plant will tolerate.

Check the map to determine which hardiness zone you live in. Use that number as a reference when choosing plants. Our catalogue gives you the zone designation for each plant.

For example: a plant with hardiness zones 3-8 will thrive in Zones 3,4,5,6,7,8.
